Yannis Sergakis Adornments was the recipient of an important distinction, as the brand won 1st place at the Couture Design Awards, which were held on Saturday, June 4th in Las Vegas, during The Couture Show, the most distinguished jewelry and watches event in the USA.

Yannis Sergakis Adornments’ participation in the awards with a pair of diamond earrings stood out among the creations of famous jewelry designers, for their elegance and the sincerity of their inspiration, winning the award for the best diamond jewelry under $ 20K. The diamond earrings are part of the Charnières line, made of yellow and black gold 18K white brilliant-cut diamonds (2.07ct). This year, the elite amongst world-renowned jewelry designers, emerging talents, more than 4,000 prominent retailers and 100 of the most recognized Media from all around the world attended The Couture Show, the ultimate destination for luxury jewelry and watches.

The Couture Design Awards, the design competition with over 200 participants every year, highlights the most creative «minds» in jewelry-making, which broaden the limits of design, while it constitutes one of the most important moments of The Couture Show.

They are undeniably considered to be the ‘Oscars of jewelry «as the panel of judges consists of distinguished personalities in the field (Adam Glassman, Arun Bohra, John Green, Rachel Garrahan, Soraya Cayen) and with criteria such as design, craftsmanship and commercial appeal, they recognize and reward the best of the best in fine jewelry design. Following his studies in gemology and design at the Gemological Institute of America, Yannis Sergakis designed and worked in jewelry for a decade before launching Yannis Sergakis Adornments in 2014. He opened his first store in Athens in 2015 where he lives and works, catching the attention of prestigious retailers worldwide. Today, his jewelry can be found in more than 30 stores, such as White bird and Le Bon Marché in Paris, Bergdorf Goodman NY, Lane Crawford Hong Kong and Browns London…
