Pierre-Yves Rochon X Devon&Devon present ‘The Thirties’ & ‘My Love Water Vanity’
Pierre-Yves Rochon and Devon&Devon present the bathtub
The Thirties and the bathroom furniture My Love Water Vanity
A large, sculptural bathtub and a modular vanity unit made entirely of porcelain stoneware that perfectly combine timeless elegance with ease of cleaning, refurbishment and maintenance: the Devon&Devon collections have been enriched by two new icons of classic-contemporary style created by Pierre-Yves Rochon and destined for the bathrooms of the most luxurious hotels and the most exclusive private residences.
The Thirties
Inspired by the best of early 20th century design, the incomparable lines of The Thirties harmoniously combine majesty, refinement and comfort.
90 cm wide and 187.5 cm long, the new large freestanding bath from Devon&Devon features a moulded outer surface, a wide rim that runs seamlessly around all four sides and a recessed plinth that makes it light and easy to clean.
The bathtub’s extremely welcoming interior silhouette incorporates two armrests that guarantee an exceptionally comfortable bathing experience (in the bath or shared).
The sculptural body of The Thirties is made entirely from White Tec Plus, a material produced to the highest standards of quality and sustainability and Greenguard Gold certified, which uses plant-based Biobased® resins.
Extraordinarily resistant to knocks, marks and daily wear and tear, it is very easy to clean and refurbish, and will not yellow over time. The composition of this innovative mix includes titanium dioxide, whose well-known photocatalytic properties provide antibacterial and antiviral activity, characteristics that are particularly important in the hotel and hospitality sector. What’s more, thanks to their high thermal capacity, bathtubs made from White Tec Plus maintain a constant water temperature for a long time, helping to save water and energy.
The bath can be matched with all the Devon&Devon tap collections.
My Love Water Vanity
The My Love Water Vanity collection consists of three wall-mounted or freestanding vanity units made entirely from marble-effect porcelain stoneware.
The three models share a unique and instantly recognisable style, responding to the different space requirements of contemporary living:
– the Small version with a single washbasin, ideal for small bathrooms ;
– the Medium version with two washbasins in a row
– the Suite version, with two washbasins staggered and mirrored, designed as a wellness island ideal for main bathrooms.
In addition to the washbasins, each module includes two or four shelves, towel rails and one or two 90° pivoting mirrors, available – like all the brass metal components – in chrome, light gold or bright nickel finishes.
Coordinating with all Devon&Devon’s tap collections, My Love Water Vanity is available in three colour options (Port Laurent, River Jade and Taj Mahal) produced with the new ALL-OVER technology. This is an innovative production technology, granted exclusively to the Italcer Group (of which Devon&Devon is a member), that allows the texture of the ceramic slab to be reproduced even on the edge while maintaining visual continuity from the top to the full thickness, with an extraordinarily realistic material effect, ideal for design projects where the utmost attention to detail is required.
To create spectacular, immersive environments, these same tiles can also be used for bathroom floors and/or wall coverings.

Three questions for Pierre-Yves Rochon
What makes the collection you’ve created for Devon&Devon so unique and special?
“I’ve known and used Devon&Devon in my interior design projects for many years. The strength of this collection that we have created together is that it perfectly meets the needs of everyday living, because it offers something new and different to what the market offers for the interior design of hotels and luxury residences.
What makes it so unique and special is that it expresses the art of living in the bathroom, a room that has finally regained a central role in the philosophy of contemporary living. The bathroom is like a secret friend with whom you can share your intimacy. With the bath and furniture in this collection, you can enjoy this experience alone or as a couple.”
What inspired you to design The Thirties bath and My Love Water Vanity?
“The shape of The Thirties bathtub and the choice of grooves are reminiscent of design from the 1930s to the 1950s. For the My Love Water Vanity, we chose to use porcelain stoneware, which is light and durable, and which, combined with the metallic finishes and the mirror, creates an ensemble of refined, classic and luxurious elegance. I created the products for Devon&Devon thinking less about references to the past and more about the needs of the present and the future. In contemporary interior design, it’s comfort that counts.”
How do you imagine the ideal bathroom for the Pierre-Yves Rochon collection for Devon&Devon?
“As an interior designer, I dream. And when I was designing this collection, I dreamt up an infinite number of ways of staging it. I can imagine it in a classic château or a very contemporary home. The Thirties bath can be placed in the centre of the room or against the wall. The same goes for the three My Love Water Vanity units, the master version of which has been designed as the centrepiece of the bathroom and as a very special place to meet face to face.”
