MILLON Accelerates its International Expansion in Northern Europe With MILLON Benelux

MILLON, Europe’s leading independent auction group, expands its field of vision and creates MILLON Benelux.
Accelerating the group’s international development in Northern Europe, MILLON Benelux moves to a new address in the heart of the prestigious Sablons district, rue Blaes, 32. Proudly anchoring its epicenter in Brussels, MILLON Benelux offers tailor-made services to sellers and collectors in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
MILLON Benelux draws on the unique expertise of MILLON, Europe’s most multi-specialist house with 49 areas of expertise, to enable all collectors to buy and sell without thematic or geographic boundaries.

Reinforcing MILLON’s position in Northern Europe – the group is already well established with a 20-year presence in Belgium – MILLON Benelux is driven by the dynamism of a Franco-Belgian couple. Edouard Culot, a native of Hainaut who trained with MILLON from the start of his career, will take over the general management of the entity, while Clémence Culot will become the first auctioneer certified by the world’s most stringent legislation to manage the sales of a Belgian-Benelux auction house.

MILLON Benelux embodies the ambition of the MILLON group: to offer sellers and their treasures the recognized expertise of Europe’s number 1 appraisal network, built up specialty by specialty since 1928. MILLON Benelux is one step ahead in exceptional fields such as fine art, jewelry, antique paintings, art of living, leather goods and fine wines, and will enable you to exhibit in the best showcases and “Sell where the market demands it” – in Brussels, Paris, Nice, Milan and Hanoi. Comics, Belgium’s leading speciality, are at the heart of MILLON Benelux, with a reinforced department located between Belgium and France, headed by renowned experts in the sector.

Benefiting from the MILLON Group’s 35 experts, MILLON Benelux will offer multi-specialist sales that meet the expectations of collectors in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and their neighbors. More than ever, MILLON Benelux is in line with the Group’s integrated philosophy: mastering the entire auction chain, from appraisal to delivery, through long-term partnerships with notaries, bailiffs, lawyers and wealth management advisors. The group’s flawless logistics expertise also enables its customers to avoid any additional costs. MILLON Benelux will shortly be announcing its next highlights, including the schedule for its first expertise days, which will be held in innovative formats.

The MILLON Group entrusts the management of MILLON Benelux to Édouard Culot, a native of Belgium, and his wife Clémence Culot. After 7 years with parent company MILLON, where he successfully developed and set up specialized sales in the fast-growing field of tableware, Edouard Culot returns to his native country, where he is well acquainted with the needs of collectors and dealers. After working for Versailles Enchères and Piasa in France, Clémence Culot will in a few weeks’ time become the first sworn auctioneer (state diploma in France) to head up a Belgian auction house, bringing her rigor and knowledge of the history of art, design and fine crafts to the Belgian market.
