Whenever you go to London, you can’t miss this place. The Sofitel St James has it all!

Why? Well, there is more than just one reason…

First of all, it’s an amazing location – a perfect combination of being close to everything and hidden away in a gorgeous little square just steps from Piccadilly. Set in the heart of London, this neoclassical hotel is surrounded by over 150 listed properties. We had our little blogger reunion at the hotel this year and the staff made sure that there was nothing missing, absolutely nothing!

Starting from a delicious welcoming drink, to a cake in my room or the late night kitchen…

I must say that we are big fans of the Sofitel universe, which we already explored in Amsterdam and Bordeaux. So we were even more curious about our stay in London!

As I live in Paris, I almost felt at home at the Sofitel St. James. One call at the reception “Bonjour Madame, how may I help you?” gave me the first smile in the morning. The communication between the staff and the hotel guest is just adorable. Service is excellent.

Our Premium Luxury room was as aspected gorgeous! It had a soft down luxury bed, high technology and Hermès amenities, a well equipped mini bar, bathtub & shower. We tried it all and satisfaction is held high at this place… We just adore the smell of the Hermès products, it’s so distinctive and lovely that you can’t get enough of it.

Complimentary high-speed WIFI and mineral water is also something that we appreciated a lot!

Another highlight was the 24/7 late night service (yes… we came home after some drinks and were hungry) – Burger & Pizza made us so happy, just hanging out on the bed and watching TV. Not to forget: the breakfast! One call and 7 minutes later, our eggs, juices, croissants and fruits were in our room!

The hotel also features a restaurant, The Balcon, The Rose Lounge, the St James Bar, a large choice of conference suites and an award-winning spa. The Rose Lounge’s beautiful cream-and-pink décor takes its inspiration from a traditional English rose garden. Delicate and serene, it is the perfect place to relax with a book from the library or indulge in a French accented afternoon tea.

St James Bar offers a unique cocktail list and a large selection of Champagnes in a milieu modeled on Coco Chanel’s 1920s Paris apartment. Chinoiserie, walnut-framed silk panels, antique lamps and French gilt chairs enhance the luxurious ambiance.
