FILIPPA K CONTINUES ITS SUCCESSFUL COLLABORATION

WITH SWEDISH ACCESSORIES BRAND LITTLE LIFFNER

Filippa K happily announces its continued collaboration with Swedish accessories brand Little Liffner through the launch of Little Liffner for Filippa K II – a capsule collection of two handmade bags. The collection will be available from March 17^th2016.

Fusing Filippa K’s minimalist heritage and Little Liffner ´s playful , easy-wear but refined signature style, the collection consists of a small saddle bag and a large versatile pouch with a detachable chain strap that can be worn in multiple ways. The two bags will be sold through Filippa-k.com and in selected Filippa K flagship stores worldwide, as well as on Littleliffner.com.

We loved working on the first collection, and it was fun to elevate the collaboration and work with a cognac shade of the leather in addition to our light palette of the SS16 collection. It turned out beautifully.

The balance between refined and casual was key for the design of the two bags, resulting in a mix of raw canvas and tan calf leather. The canvas representing the unworked and raw, the tan calf leather signifying timelessness and the metal adding contemporary edge. All materials have been sourced in Italy where the bags are also made, the cotton canvas being a returning Little Liffner favorite that ages with grace and bears a low-key reference to the notion of a blank canvas.
