The Chef’s Table Dinner in San Sebastian

If you are looking for a special experience, where you meet new people while the chef is cooking in front of you, the chef’s table dinner in San Sebastian is something you should try.

The exclusive chef’s table night is specially tailored for the enjoyment of just a few guests…
We met two lovely couples, David & Morgan from New York and Brian & Joanne from Perth. It was really fun, we were all laughing while discussing the different cultures and having the best wines from the region.
Located in the most beautiful hotel in San Sebastian, the Maria Cristina, the Cooking School offered for the first time a unique concept, inspired by the local Basque gastronomic societies.
During this special event, the chef becomes more like a friend you can chat with and ask questions and he will tell you everything about his amazing dishes and even more.
This demo lasts three hours and includes guidance on preparing our chef’s favorite local dishes, as well as a fabulous time among new friends.

Red Mullet with Avocado, Ginger and Sesame
Spider Crab Ravioli with Leek and Vanilla
Rice with Prawns, Safran and Parsley
Monkfish with Squid, Green Pepper and Black Olives
Suckling Pig with Mash, Cumin and Pancetta
Cheese Plate
Trufas de Chocolate
Each dish was served with different wines from the region. It was outstanding!
If you come to San Sebastian, you really should experience the Chef’s dinner and take a walk in the beautiful village or by the sea afterwards. It can be really romantic…
