Some of these unique compositions are so remarkable they are destined to be shared with the world. In 2022, the debut chapter of the In All Intimacy collection celebrated the story of Rafael Nadal and Maria Perello through three fragrances. That same year, Henry Jacques found a creative kinship with Heron Preston and Sabrina Albarello, whose artistic vision and dedication to authenticity harmonize perfectly with the maison’s values.

The first encounter between Henry Jacques and Heron Preston took place at the opening of the brand’s boutique on Avenue Montaigne, where Preston, a multi-talented New York artist, took on the role of DJ for the evening. Known for his impact as a designer, creative director, and DJ, Preston’s influence bridges fashion, culture, and innovation. After founding his label in 2016, he met Sabrina two years later—a connection that quickly inspired him to create a women’s line within his brand. Together, their work fuses cutting-edge technology with a commitment to sustainability, reflecting the values of a new generation that sees environmental and social responsibility as central to shaping the future of fashion and culture.

Deeply personal and instinctive, the creation of a fragrance was a unique learning experience for Heron and Sabrina, who were both captivated by the endless possibilities that haute perfumery offers. “There are no limits to what you can create, you can refine it endlessly,” says Heron, brimming with enthusiasm. “Everything you can do with nature, without altering it… it’s so inspiring,” Sabrina adds.
Wearing their fragrance, the couple quickly understood why Haute Parfumerie Vivante has become the signature of their brand. “You realize just how alive the fragrance is. It evolves over time, changing based on DNA, on the skin… worn by someone else, it’s completely different!” Heron marvels. “From the raw materials to how the fragrance develops on the skin, it all comes from nature. The best designer? It’s nature,” he concludes.

A Tale in a Bottle
The personalities and shared creativity of Heron and Sabrina are beautifully captured in these olfactory compositions. Though their fragrances share three key ingredients, each scent is both distinct and harmonious, perfectly reflecting their bond and balanced connection.
Heron’s fragrance opens vibrantly with Brazilian palmarosa, evoking the freshness of cut grass and morning dew. A hint of rose, bergamot, and spice adds balance to this energetic start, while dry hay notes blend seamlessly with the almond warmth of tonka bean, infusing a rich warmth into the fragrance.

A nostalgic hint of his grandmother’s cookies takes him back to his childhood home. Then, the depth of sandalwood, benzoin, and vanilla mingles with rich, leathery notes, leaving an intoxicating trail. Initially warm, sparkling, and vibrant, then deep and complex, Heron’s scent is, as Sabrina describes, “very special, very distinct, very Heron.”
In contrast, Sabrina’s fragrance opens with a warm embrace, enriched by the enveloping spice of cinnamon and cardamom. Gradually, tonka bean and clove emerge to balance the soft, musky allure of white blossoms. Vanilla and benzoin, underscored by an arrangement of rich, deep woody notes, bring an elegance as comforting as it is sophisticated. A fragrance of true duality—strength and softness, much like Sabrina herself. “It makes me feel safe, but it has a fierce edge,” Heron notes with a smile.
