BONNIE – WE PROMISE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN PARIS THAT WAY
BONNIE – A PARISIAN PANORAMA THAT WILL TAKE YOUR BRETAH AWAY
“They say I am beautiful and cheeky.
Irresistible’, they whisper in my ear.
I love parties, beautiful things, and I have all of Paris
at my feet. My name is Bonnie.
You won’t forget me for a long time.”
Opened earlier this year, BONNIE is the new place to be in the east of Paris, right on top of the SO/Paris Hotel in the 4th arrondissement. Sixteen floors above ground, it offers an unsuspected view of the the green banks of the Seine and its iconic monuments.
Bonnie by Paris Society could only take up her position in the heart of a reinvented Paris, and above all, high up in the sky. It is therefore at the top of the Morland Tower, with the Ile Saint-Louis at its feet and the Eiffel Tower just a few roofs away, that this restaurant, bar and club is unveiled, topping the SO/Paris hotel with panache, the first Parisian establishment of the new premium concept of the Ennismore group.
BACK TO THE FUTURE
The “Space Age” breathes into Bonnie with its rounded shapes and refined comfort. Under the precise and emotional direction of Jordane Arrivetz of the Notoire agency, the panoramic view takes on cosmic allure and the disconnection borders on weightlessness.
From the psychedelic accents of the carpet to the opulence of the benches, Bonnie immerses her guests in an enveloping cocoon and succeeds in synthesising the sixties and the 2020s.
A challenge that has been met even on the terrace, where art has its rightful place. Witness the stunning installation by Olafur Eliasson and Sebastian Benham: with the complicity of the Other Spaces Studio, the artist transforms the bay windows and the mirrored ceiling in his work “The Seeing City” into a machine for amplifying perceptions, duplicating the landscape and reversing perspectives.
I LOVE (TO EAT) PARIS
Bonnie loves Paris, which is very much in her favour, but she also likes to cross the Atlantic to give her cuisine a New York twist. On the plate, the product is king, and it is always a choice product. A chic Parisian brasserie spirit shines through on the gourmet and often spectacular menu where the sea has pride of place but also gives pride of place to some carefully chosen meats. The recipes, festive and iconic, can be shared… or not.
ELLE DIT « CHAMPAGNE »,
JE L’ACCOMPAGNE
At Bonnie’s, the art of the cocktail is practised with the clinking of glasses. Alone for the purists or in new recipes for the adventurous, champagne sets the tone for a menu that allows itself a few forays into the repertoire of mythical cocktails of the 60s and 70s.
PARIS NEW-YORK
16th floor: welcome to the golden age of cool.
Under the leadership of artistic director Emmanuel d’Orazio (Le Septième Ciel, Club Sandwich, Hot Spot, etc.), Bonnie opens the doors of its club every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to a Paris New York vibrating to the electro-disco rhythm of the 60s and 70s.
Big brown leather sofas and large windows offering a view of the whole of Paris, explosive cocktails, there is a bit of Studio 54 in this new Parisian temple of the night where the parties promise to be as stunning as the view.
